It's Just A Game

Overview

Will you struggle to maintain control over yourself and your identity, or will you succumb to temptation as your life blends with fiction? If perception is reality, are there any objective truths? MC thinks he's cracked the code to finally make VR-like games multiplayer. Unfortunately, he makes a few errors and ends up under the thumb of people who have other goals in mind for his tech.

Things rapidly spiral out of control as MC is caught in an internecine corporate power struggle while the people closest to him begin to lose their identities to their game personas. At the beginning of the game (the entirety of what's been released so far) the simulation games function like your classic scifi VR.

The majority of the game is going to take place in the "real" world. Later in the story the VR will become much closer to AR, the MC will be perceiving and experiencing parts of the different games while still conscious and interacting with the "real" world. He'll have trouble distinguishing real from simulation.

There will be a whole lot of weird sex stuff.
